The Chippy Chapel is an intimate, multi-use event space near Lake Carey, PA. Built in 1889 and lovingly restored, the chapel hosts weddings, workshops, wellness retreats, and meaningful celebrations.

  • A. Handcrafted wood floors, white walls and rafters, eight large windows the flood the space with natural light

  • A. The chapel’s historic character, combined with its open, light-filled interior, creates an atmosphere suited to both ceremony and creative work

  • A. Intimate weddings and elopements, workshops, yoga and wellness classes, photography sessions, bridal and baby showers, and birthday celebrations

  • A. Yes. The wooded area outside features string lights in the trees, creatinga beautiful ambiance for outdoor celebrations

  • A. Parking for up to 6 cars is provided at the chapel. Additional parking is located directly across the road

  • A. Not currently. The space relies on natural ventilation and seasonal temperatures

  • A. Not yet. We recommend Reeve’s for porta-potty rentals.

  • A. The Chapel is not fully wheelchair accessible at this time, but we’re happy to make accommodations where possible. Please inquire about your specific needs

  • A. Food and drinks are not included with venue rental. We highly recommend Epicurean Delight Catering

  • A. Yes. Bartending services are available upon request

  • A. Yes. Julie, the Chapel’s owner, is ordained and available to perform wedding ceremonies for an additional fee
